XP Wagon For Sale
1965 XP Falcon Station-wagon ‘Delux’
This wagon is in excellent original condition. I am only the second owner. The original owner had it kept under cover at Hay in central NSW, hence rust is very minor – in bottom of tail gate and small spot in rear corner of roof only. In the last 2 years since I have owned the vehicle I have driven it weekly. It is not repaired, resprayed or modified but still registered and drives well, which is extremely rare – the perfect vehicle for a collector.
Features
Completely unmodified straight body. Original Paint. 11 months rego
Original 170 pursuit engine unmodified
Brakes refurbished 2 years ago when purchased – all wheel cylinders and front brake hoses replaced , rear drums machined. (Still drums all round)
Interior is completely original, including steering wheel and radio.
Original spare wheel and tire still in rear compartment.
Original ratchet bumper jack.
Original cardboard glove box included along with a stainless steel one made to hold CD-player or other gauges. Either one can be screwed into the original holes.
Interior infill panels in boot have been replaced with ply, however the original metallic painted masonite panels have been retained and are included.
Original generator included however an 80amp bosh alternator has been fitted using later model mounting bracket.
Two boxes of spare parts which came from the original owner including spare tail lenses, Ford hub caps, original keyed petrol cap front end parts, clutch plate, ignition coil and many more.
